Others:

Q: Hi who makes these cabinets?

A: We design and assemble our cabinets in the USA.

A: Yes, our cabinets will arrive assembled.

Q: Can these be custom ordered to any depth, such as 20in?

A: No, these products cannot be custom ordered.

Q: For the price I paid the quality should’ve been better. The quality is MDF not solid wood. It’s ridiculous to charge over $300 for this

A: It may surprise you to know that painted MDF doors are very similar price to solid painted maple. We use MDF has it prevents hairline fractures at the joint in doors, this means our doors will look great for years to come.  We offer a limited warranty so if you have any issue with the quality of our products you are covered.

Q: Can J Collection panels be used as a dry erase board?

A: No, we would not recommend using markers on any product outside of an actual dry erase board. However, our designers have been able to incorporate dry erase boards and chalk boards into many spaces. We are happy to help you with your design free of charge.

Q: Are base cabinets stackable?

A: No, as our base cabinets come with legs and we do not recommend removing the legs you can not stack base cabinets. However, there are many other options to stack cabinets to create your desired effect. We are happy to help you with you design free of charge.

Q: Can a base window seat (or any other cabinet) be used as a platform under a washing machine and dryer?

A: No, this is not how cabinets are meant to be used. The only thing a washer / dryer can sit on (besides the floor) are pedestals that are purchased from the same appliance brand. The reason is they have special brackets to clip onto to prevent the machines from falling / tipping over and creating a safety hazard. We strongly advise against deviating from the appliance manufacturers safety recommendations.

Q: Can wall cabinets be used as a base cabinet with another wall stacked to achieve a built-in pantry look?

A: Yes, however, you will need to build up the bottom using raw materials to make a “toe kick” space as the cabinets can’t sit directly onto the floor. The recommended toe kick space is 4.5” H however you can make adjustments to that if your site conditions require it.
